Coelophysis is a theropod dinosaur from the Triassic of North America, living around 215 million years ago. Coelophysis has some of the most specimens of any dinosaur.

Coelophysis was once thought to have eaten their young due to an infant coelophysis appearing within the stomach cavity of an adult, however, it turns out the adult simply fell on top of the infant.
